Audiometers, immittance, OAE, ABR: Calibration is required at least annually in accordance with ANSI (US) and IEC/ISO (EU) standards. For high-throughput clinical environments, more frequent intervals (quarterly or semi-annual) are recommended to ensure continued accuracy and compliance.
Test-room ambient noise: Verification is required at installation, after any structural or environmental modifications, and annually in line with audiometer checks. Documentation must demonstrate that ambient noise levels remain within permissible limits defined by applicable standards.
